It’s been a little while since our last update, and we want to take a moment to reconnect with all of you. The campaign to unionize DYNA-MIG with Unifor is still active—but we need to be honest: things have gone a bit quiet, and that silence only helps the employer, not us.

We’ve heard directly from workers about the real issues on the floor: unfair treatment, inconsistent schedules, safety concerns, and wages that don’t keep up with rising costs. Many of you stepped up, signed cards, and started talking with coworkers. That energy helped us get this campaign off the ground—and now we need to rebuild it, together.

Here’s the truth: nothing changes unless we push for it. The employer won’t hand over better working conditions without a fight. But with a union and a collective agreement in place, you gain real power and real protections. It’s not just about demanding more—it’s about protecting what you already have and building something better.

What you can do right now:

  • Talk to a trusted coworker. Conversations on the floor matter. If you support the campaign, don’t keep it to yourself.

  • Reach out to us. We’re here to answer questions, listen to concerns, and support you every step of the way. Everything you share is 100% confidential.

  • Re-sign your card if it’s been a while. If your card expired or you never signed one, now’s the time to do it. We’ve made it simple and secure to sign digitally.

The company will always prefer a divided workforce that’s easier to control. But when workers come together and form a union, the power shifts—and it starts with people like you.
