REMINDER - Facts over Rumours - Benefits & Other Provisions.

We encourage everyone to make an informed decision as we approach the vote. Unifor is not here to divide the membership and we respect those that have continued to support CLAC.

We still wish to make a very important point on CLAC’s focus on Regina and our members there. They have recently tried to draw negative comparisons between Calgary and Regina, but the simple reality is a majority of YYC members signed Unifor cards because they believed better representation was possible. While this was occurring our Regina members are negotiating their second Unfor collective agreement and are happy with their representation.

Remember your benefits, including LTD/STD and life insurance, will stay in place during the transition. During bargaining you’ll only be moving forward from there and where to make those improvements will be determined by the priorities of you and your co-workers, not union staff.

CLAC might suggest otherwise, but there would be no point in Unifor launching this campaign unless we felt we could be a better union for you, both in bargaining AND representation.

Remember, your collective agreement and benefits will be yours and Regina’s will be theirs. The tiers of airports aside, we respect that these are two different workplaces with unique sets of priorities. We also respect your ability to determine what is best for you. We’re here to move forward with you, not backwards.
