The choice tomorrow: A fighter for you? Or a friend of the employer?
Since December we’ve reached out to GardaWorld YYC workers by phone, in-person and electronically. What we heard is clear: “We need someone who will fight for us, not a friend of the employer”.
CLAC has promised they will do better, they are asking for a second chance. It is up to you to decide whether they deserve it.
They’ve worked tirelessly to try to deflect from their own failed record on enforcing your agreement and we’ve heard of the grievance backlog that is not being dealt with or grievances that simply vanish with no resolution.
Unifor has a proven history of fighting on behalf of our members. You’re not joining Unifor to go backwards, you’re joining Unifor to move forward. With Unifor, you’ll have a fighter in your corner, not a friend of employer.
