CIRB Application Update - Vote Ordered!

The CIRB Industrial Relations Officer sent a report to the Board for a decision last week. This morning we received the decision and it confirms that a majority of the workplace has shown support for Unifor by signing a union card! With this show of support, the CIRB has ordered a vote!

While the vote is now ordered, we are awaiting the details and dates of the vote. We are hopeful this will be completed early this week

We will let you know as soon as we have further information from the CIRB.

COMPLETED Weds. March 30 – Deadline for Employer to provide employee list of eligible voters

COMPLETED Mon. April 4 – Deadline for Employer and CLAC to provide response to the Unifor application

COMPLETED Mon. April 11 – Deadline for Unifor to respond to both the Employer and CLAC’s responses

COMPLETED Weds. April 13 – Deadline for CIRB Industrial Relations Officer to provide a Letter of Understanding to the parties regarding all positions.

COMPLETED Mon. April 25 - CIRB issues decision and vote order
