As 2026 begins, Unifor recognizes the hard work and resolve of workers at DYNA MIG who are coming together to improve their working conditions and secure a stronger future. Manufacturing workers know that fairness, safety, and stability are not guaranteed unless workers have a collective voice and enforceable rights.

Workers are organizing because they want transparency, fair wages, strong health and safety protections, and job security that is not dependent on management discretion. Unionization ensures that workplace standards are negotiated collectively and protected through a binding agreement.

Unifor is deeply committed to supporting manufacturing workers because strong manufacturing jobs are essential to strong communities. As Canada’s largest private sector union, Unifor has a long history of delivering real gains for manufacturing workers across the country. Unifor is proud to support DYNA MIG workers as they work to join together as members of Unifor and build a safer, fairer, and more secure workplace.

In solidarity,
