Over 150 DynaMig Workers Signed Before. Let's Finish What We Started.
Since our last email, we've received several new union membership cards from DynaMig workers. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up. Every card brings us one step closer to giving workers a real voice in their workplace.
Here's something many people don't know:
Union membership cards expire.
The last time DynaMig workers came together, more than 150 employees signed union membership cards. That was a tremendous show of support. Unfortunately, as time passed, momentum slowed and those cards expired. Today, the vast majority of those cards no longer count toward the support needed to move forward.
That means if you signed a card in the past, we need you to sign a new one.
The good news is this: we're seeing renewed interest from workers, and we believe there's a real opportunity to move this campaign forward quickly. With enough engagement, we can get to the bargaining table and begin negotiating a collective agreement.
Think about what that means.
Instead of wondering each year what management might decide to give you, you could be negotiating wage increases that are set out in a legally binding agreement. Instead of hoping for a bonus or improvements to benefits and working conditions, you and your co-workers would have the opportunity to bargain for them.
Real gains don't happen by accident. They happen when workers stand together and negotiate them.
This is one of those moments where every card matters. Every conversation matters. Every worker who gets involved brings us closer to making lasting improvements at DynaMig.
If you signed a card before, please renew it. If you haven't signed yet, now is the time.
Let's not lose the momentum again. Let's build on it and turn it into real improvements that benefit every DynaMig worker for years to come.
If you have any questions or would like to update your membership card, reach out to us. Every conversation is completely confidential.

Membership cards expire as part of the labour board process. When they expire, support on paper drops, even if support in the workplace remains strong. That gap can slow or stop an organizing drive.
